Three Penn Hills High School seniors have been selected by the D-Day Leadership Academy to participate in an incredible educational and leadership experience this summer.

Congratulations to Alonah Darwin-Jackson, Cameron Glenn, and Kameron Turner on earning this prestigious opportunity.

The program focuses on leadership, history, honor, and sacrifice, providing students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of World War II and the legacy of those who served.

Through a scholarship provided by the academy, the students’ travel and accommodations will be covered for an eight-day journey through Normandy and Paris beginning June 21. During the trip, students will visit historic landmarks, participate in leadership development activities, and honor the heroes of D-Day through immersive learning experiences.

Penn Hills is proud of these outstanding students and congratulates them on this well-deserved opportunity to represent both the school and community abroad.
