Penn Hills School District Mourns the Passing of School Counselor Maggie Watson

The Penn Hills School District is saddened to share the passing of Maggie Watson, a beloved member of our Linton Middle School community.

Mrs. Watson began her career in the Penn Hills School District in 1998 as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at Penn Hills Senior High School. In 2005, she joined Linton Middle School as a school counselor, where she became a caring and trusted presence for students, staff, and families.

A proud Penn Hills graduate from the Class of 1993, Mrs. Watson dedicated her life and career to supporting the students of her community. Her dedication to the well-being of others made a lasting impact on many.

Mrs. Watson leaves behind her husband and two children.

During this difficult time, support services will be available for students and staff. We encourage anyone who may need support to reach out to school counselors or administration.
