Penn Hills School District is excited to welcome you to A Shift @ The PHactory, a hands-on maker night taking place on Tuesday, May 12 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Penn Hills Elementary School as part of Remake Learning Days.

This interactive evening invites families to experience what learning looks like when students are empowered to create, build, and experiment together. Participants will rotate through a variety of engaging maker stations featuring open-ended building challenges, simple engineering tasks, creative design activities, and collaborative problem-solving using everyday and maker materials.

By opening The PHactory to the Penn Hills community, this event emphasizes equitable access to innovative learning opportunities and reinforces that making, engineering, and design thinking are for everyone.

Remake Learning Days is a regional celebration of curiosity and creativity, featuring hundreds of interactive learning experiences across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Events like A Shift @ The PHactory help connect families to meaningful educational opportunities while showcasing how learning is evolving beyond the traditional classroom.
